President – Angie Morse

For over 20 years, Angie Morse has been involved in many aspects of the design industry, including: creative service management, graphic design, teaching, writing, interior and landscape design, home staging, and visual merchandising. She enjoys working with clients on all levels - from simple color consulting, budget decorating, and redesign (using what you have), to complex, full home room-by-room plans.

Angie has a BA in Journalism and Recreation/Event Management from the University of Oregon. She also has extended studies in graphic and electronic design, time and project management, professional organization, interior design, redesign, color, and home staging. She is IRIS (Interior Redesign Industry Specialists) certified and serves as the Vice Director on the IRIS National Board of Directors. In addition, Angie attended the Heritage School of Interior Design and is ICD (Interior Custom Decorator) certified. She also trained at the Organizing Academy for professional organization and is a certified Dewey Color Consultant.

She has won awards for organization, color, and redesign and has been featured in numerous publications.

Angie is a member of IDS (Interior Design Society), IRIS (Interior Redesign Industry Specialists), RESA (Real Estate Staging Association), NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers), ADE (Association of Design Education), IDPC (Interior Design Protection Council), and the CHA (Craft and Hobby Association).

Vice President & Membership Co-Chair – Will McHarness

Will McHarness joined the design community in 2003 as a wholesale agent for Contract Furnishings Mart in Clackamas, Oregon.  Will is a wholesale broker of interior surfaces, Slab Countertops, Flooring, Natural Stone, and most recently Cabinetry.  In the past decade he has worked extensively with designers on many levels of their projects concerning technical advice, application, color, texture, and logistical expertise.  He is extensively involved with residential, commercial, multi-family, and new construction projects all over the state of Oregon and “wears many hats” in the industry.  When asked what he likes best about this career choice he replied, “I like taking something that can be perceived as complicated or even overwhelming and translating that into a language that is fun and easy to understand…I love working with people!”  When he isn’t hard at work, Will enjoys time spent with his wife and four children.  He is an active member of his local Church and loves to sing Karaoke with friends.

Immediate Past President – Katya Waff-Grisaffi

Katya Waff

Katya Waff received an academic scholarship from Princeton Scholarship Foundation.  In 1993, Katya earned a professional five-year degree in Interior Architecture from the University of Oregon, a CIDA accredited program ranked third in the nation.

Katya initially worked as a commercial interior designer for award-winning architecture firms, including SRG Partnership and GBD Architects in Portland, Oregon.  Katya’s work evolved over time to residential design and expertise in Kitchen and Bath design.  Katya has served on the Executive Board of Directors for National Kitchen & Bath Association as Vice President of Membership. Through her tenure with NKBA, Katya participated in leadership training and continuing education.

In addition to Katya’s role as a designer, she has also taught as an Adjunct Instructor at the Art Institute of Portland. Courses taught include Design Studios, Advanced Textiles, Retail Store Planning, Kitchen & Bath Design and Professional Practices.  Katya has also served as a Board Member at the Art Institute heading the Technology Committee as well as served on the Faculty Advisory Committee.

Secretary – Anne Runde

A native Oregonian and graduate of Portland State University and the Heritage School of Interior Design, Anne founded Anne Runde Interiors in Portland in 2007.  Her business focuses on residential interior design, with a special emphasis on bathroom remodeling projects.  Anne Runde Interiors also offers home staging services and was awarded "Best Vacant Staging" in 2011 (IRIS National Awards).

In addition to IDS, Anne is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) Columbia River Chapter and is past president of the Portland Chapter of IRIS (Interior Redesign Industry Specialists).  Her work was awarded the "Molly's Choice Award" at the 2012 Serving Up Style Design Competition and was recently awarded the 2013 "Best of HOUZZ" award in the Customer Satisfaction category.

Treasurer – Terry Hansen-Lebenguth


Terry Hansen Leibenguth has more than 20 years experience in the fields of fine art and  decorative painting. Her eye for color and fine art training allows her to create wonderfully enriching experiences which enhance every living space.  Terry provides customer service at the highest level and exceptional workmanship.  With the latest in decorative finishing techniques she offers clients innovative and one-of-a-kind applications for walls, floors, ceilings, cabinetry, canvas, woodwork and furniture.  These techniques include murals, trompe l'oeil, faux painting, Venetian plasters, textural plasters, crackle finishes, gold leafing, metal patinas, stenciling, antique patina mirrors and frottage. 

Membership Co-Chair/ Historian – Noel Howell

Programs – Chana Coleman

Chana Coleman is the principle owner/ designer of Everyday Styling, a business committed to giving your home the look and feel you long for.

Opening her business in 2002, Chana has spent twelve years in the design industry. She is certified in both Redesign (using what you already own) and Real Estate Staging and has done extensive work in remodeling and interior decorating both residential and commercial. She has also received training by “Color with no Regrets” and is a certified color consultant. Chana has won two national design awards, was a finalist in the Portland Distinct Style Awards and won the Molly’s Choice Award form Serving Up Style, Portland’s premiere design competition.

In this busy, hectic world, Chana believes every home should be a haven. A place of order, function and beauty. She enjoys collaborating with her clients on all levels of design. From color consultations to remodeling projects, redesign and staging, Chana strives to give each client the results they are looking for and more!
